Seeing Southern Photography

We're Len and Judy Garrison, and Hayesville, North Carolina is home.

Len hails from Flemington, New Jersey, but he has been in the South for over 30 years. He will tell you that he's Southern now (we Southerners know better). Judy grew up in the North Georgia mountains in the small town of Clarkesville. No matter where she lives, home will always be Clarkesville. 

​

For years, we've captured some of the most wonderful people and destinations in the world. As award-winning travel photographers and writers, we've told stories through words and imagery. Places and events like the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain; the endless olive groves in Greece, the service station espresso shops in Sicily, the Southern Cross from the bow of S/V Mandalay, the intimate pub life in Ireland. While at home, we utilize our narrative and documentary skills with commercial shoots, events and weddings.

Photography, for us, has been the great gatherer - of relationships and opportunities built, in part, by our knowledge of the creative and artistic, angles and light. We're here to build a relationship with you while creating professional images for your event, your marketing - whatever you need. We are available for studio, location, and destination sessions.
